During special Events, City of Lincoln Council use temporary measures to manage traffic and parking. We develop schemes with our Partners, the police and other emergency services. They can include temporary one-way systems, road closures, suspended parking bays, extended waiting and loading restrictions. These schemes help to reduce the nuisance to local residents caused by the events and make sure that emergency services can access the area.
During the Christmas Market we introduce major special traffic and parking measures around the area of uphill Lincoln. Details of these will be available soon.
